The F. Edward Hébert School of Medicine is the place to learn the art and science of military medicine. The innovative learning program melds a traditional health sciences curriculum with military training and leadership skills so USU graduates are ready to practice their unique brand of medicine anywhere in the world.
Students in USU's graduate programs learn fundamental science and conduct original research so they can build a foundation of knowledge that leads to breakthroughs in many different areas of biomedical science, from neuroscience to infectious diseases and nearly every other discipline of biomedicine in between.
Uniformed nurses carry out a charge that reaches far beyond traditional nursing roles. They care for patients in locations as dangerous as the wounds they treat, and make decisions can save a life or thousands at once. Uniformed nurses are the cornerstone of the Military Health System, and USU is the place to learn the advances skills needed to be leaders in the profession.
Army, Navy and Air Force schools form USU's Postgraduate Dental College. While each college is unique, they all combine education, research and dynamic residency opportunities to cultivate excellent clinicians ready to serve a mobile force – at home and abroad, in war and peace.
