Must be a US citizen and a graduate from an accredited (Liaison Committee for Medical Education or American Osteopathic Association) school of medicine in the US or Puerto Rico; be currently enrolled or have completed an accredited PGY1 year program approved by either the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA); have passed Steps 1-3 of a US licensure examination and possess a current unrestricted medical license and meet the utilization requirement stated in paragraph 3. Physicians currently in an FYGME program at the PGY1 level must apply for licensure and hold a state license before the start of the PGY3 year. Any active duty MC officer who graduated from a foreign medical school must possess a standard certificate from the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG). Preventive Medicine physicians must complete all required residency years and be board eligible/certified in their initial specialty before they are permitted to apply for fellowship training in Occupational Medicine.
Must be a US citizen and a graduate from an accredited (Liaison Committee for Medical Education or American Osteopathic Association) school of medicine in the US or Puerto Rico; be currently enrolled or completed an accredited PGY1 year program approved by either the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA); have no contractual obligation for military service in the selected reserves; have passed Steps 1-3 of the licensure examination; possess a current unrestricted medical license; agree to immediately withdraw from the civilian match upon execution of a training agreement indicating acceptance into an Army training program and meet eligibility criteria for entry onto active duty. If entering at an advanced level of residency, i.e., PGY3 or above, the applicant must have satisfactorily completed sufficient training in an accredited US residency program approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education to allow advanced placement. Civilian physicians, who are currently in their PGY1 year of training, must apply for licensure and hold a state license before the start of the PGY3 year. If applying for fellowship, must be enrolled or have completed all required residency years and be board eligible/certified in their initial specialty;
