The MedXellence course is delivered approximately five times per annum. Courses are generally held at Armed Forces Recreation Centers (AFRCs), AFRC or MWR approved hotels, and on-site at the Uniformed Services University. Attendees may self-nominate or may be nominated by their supervisor. They are selected by the Program Manager

Continuing Medical Education
The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS) is
accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
Continuing Nursing Education
The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences is
accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses
Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
Requirement for successful completion include full participation and completion of evaluation forms.
American College of Healthcare Executives
The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences is authorized to award approximately 31* hours of pre-approved Category II (non-ACHE) continuing education credit for this program toward advancement or recertification in the American College of Healthcare Executives. Participants in this program wishing to have the continuing education hours applied toward Category II credit should indicate their attendance when submitting application to the American College of Healthcare Executives for advancement or recertification.
