Application Information

The Federal Reproductive Endocrinology Training Program is fully accredited by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology as a subspecialty program designed to lead to subspecialty certification in Reproductive Endocrinology. Upon completion of the program, fellows may sit for the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology examination in Reproductive Endocrinology. Qualified candidates must be a U.S. citizen and have completed an accredited residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in the United States and be board eligible in this specialty. Selection of candidates is processed through the National Resident Matching Program. Two or three positions are available for each year for a total of nine. Applications are accepted 18 months before the anticipated start date and interviews are typically held approximately 10-12 months before the start date.

Applications should be submitted using the web site established by the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (see http://www.socrei.org/REIApplication). The Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (SRE&I) is the organization that coordinates all U.S. applications for the subspecialty. In addition to the materials required by the SRE&I, interested candidates must submit a recent curriculum vita, three letters of reference, and medical school transcripts to Donna Tatham at the address below. Upon receipt of these materials, the applicant will be notified regarding an interview.
