Thesis Advisory Committee
Advancement to Candidacy
A student can advance to candidacy as a doctoral student upon fulfilling the following criteria:
1. Completion of required coursework with a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or greater.
2. Successful completion of the Qualifying Exam
3. Selection of a Thesis Advisory Committee (submit Form 641)
