Tuition-free Education

Joining the pursuit of medicine and the call to service at the Uniformed Services University relieves the burden of costly student loans. The tuition and fees for enrollment in the F. Edward Hebert School of Medicine is covered by each student's parent service. Students also receive the full salary and benefits of a second lieutenant or ensign throughout all four years of school.

In exchange for a tuition-free education, students commit to serving at least seven years in the uniformed service after graduation, internship and residency are complete.
