Doctor Larry Laughlin is the Dean of the F. Edward Hébert School of Medicine. In this role, he oversees the school's academic departments, a multidisciplinary faculty and student in the Army, Navy, Air Force and Public Health Service.
John E. McManigle, M.D.
Colonel, USAF (Ret)
Doctor John E. McManigle is the Dean's principal deputy. He oversees degree programs for medical and graduate students that meet the standards of accrediting bodies and the needs of the uniformed services.
Lisa A. Pearse, M.D.
Commander Lisa A. Pearse is the Commandant of the F. Edward Hebert School of Medicine. She is the senior military officer-in-charge of all medical students.
Oversees the coordination and evaluation of the curriculum of the undergraduate medical education program at USU. Also serves as a resource for information regarding the curriculum and curriculum policy as well as issues pertaining to accreditation standards for the medical school and university.
Eleanor S. Metcalf, Ph.D.
Doctor Eleanor S. Metcalf is the Associate Dean for Graduate Education. She oversees four master's programs and six doctoral programs in the F. Edward Hebert School of Medicine as well as a physician/scientist program (M.D./Ph.D.).
Joseph V. Lopreiato, M.D.

Doctor Joseph V. Lopreiato is the Associate Dean for Simulation Education. He oversees and manages simulation education and research at the Uniformed Services University.
Brian V. Reamy, M.D.

Colonel Brian V. Reamy is the Associate Dean for Faculty and Professor of Family Medicine. In these roles, he serves as a faculty advisor and works to promote an academic environment that supports, enhances, and rewards the activities of all SOM faculty located on campus, throughout the United States and the world.
The Associate Dean for Recruitment and Admissions oversees all aspects of student recruitment at USU from recruiting activities to marketing strategies, and furthermore establishes admissions policies to ensure the most qualified are chosen.
Richard M. MacDonald, M.D.

Doctor Richard M. MacDonald is the Associate Dean for Student Affairs. He collaborates with faculty and staff across the university to create a nurturing academic environment where students grow and succeed.
