Statistical Measures and Analytic Methods to Build Evidence for Military & Federal Health Care Systems

Course Number: GSN 53133
3 Credits

The content in this core course builds on the subject matter from GSN51122, Theoretical Foundations for Military and Federal Health Practice. Integration of principles of research, statistical measures, analytic methods, and the use of computers and technology, in research, is highlighted. Specifically, this course focuses on helping students acquire the knowledge and technological skills needed to manipulate quantitative data and use nonparametric and parametric statistics to answer research questions or test hypotheses. Students will also apply their knowledge of the research process, levels of measurement, and analytic methods in the critique of nonparametric and parametric statistical designs.
