The 3500xL 24-capillary platform can run a wide variety of applications, including de novo sequencing and resequencing (mutational profiling), as well as microsatellite analysis, MLPA, LOH, MLST, AFLP and SNP validation or screening. The majority of applications can be run on a single polymer and capillary array. The 3500 Series Data Collection Software integrates seamlessly with several downstream software packages to provide comprehensive analysis of genetic data.

The ABI 3900 synthesizer is an economical, versatile, high-throughput platform that synthesizes DNA oligonucleotides with fast cycle times, low reagent consumption, and incomparable reliability. This system is ideal for synthesizing primers of various lengths and includes optimized cycles for producing dye-labeled primers and probes. It has the flexibility to synthesize sequences with lengths greater than 50-mer at scales of 40 nmol, 1 micromol, and 0.2 micromol and can synthesize all three scales in one run.

High throughput:

  • Produces up to 288 primer length oligos at 40 and 200 nmol scales in less than 10 hours (six runs of 48).
  • Capable of making 12 oligos at 40 and 200 nmol scales in less than one hour, producing high-quality oligonucleotides.

Systec MediaPrep & Plate Pourer

Systec MediaPrep amp; Plate Pourer

The new Systec MediaPrep system prepares and sterilizes media in less than 90 minutes. Prepared media is dispensed via a flexible tube directly connected to the plate pourer. The plate pourer is a compact, automated Petri dish filler, controlled by a graphical interface. It can pour any depth plate and up to 900 Petri dishes an hour.
