Research Opportunities
This program has several ongoing clinical research projects. There is a strong emphasis on having the fellows participate in these research projects. Opportunities abound for those interested.
Special Features, Requirements, Comments about program:
Applicants must have completed anesthesia or physical medicine training and be an active duty military officer to apply. There is a strong focus on interventional pain management. Training offered in all aspects of interventional pain management to include: acupuncture, prolotherapy, cold laser, epidural steroids, sympathetic blockade and denervation, radiofrequency ablation, pulsed radiofrequency, cryoneurolysis, discography, IDET, IDEA, vertebroplasty, Kyphoplasty, epiduroscopy, target catheters, "Racz" adhesiolysis, spinal cord stimulation, peripheral nerve stimulation and intrathecal pumps.
