Mission

The mission of the Anatomic Materials Review Committee (AMRC) is to review the use of human materials at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences to ensure that this use conforms to the appropriate ethical, institutional, and regulatory standards.

Scope

The Committee accepts requests for review that conform to the mission of the University and that are conducted within the USUHS Anatomic Teaching Laboratory. These include bona fide educational and research protocols that are sponsored by military units, academic departments within USUHS and the Department of Defense, military Graduate Medical Education programs, and military Continuing Education programs.
